1980 Chevy Blazer
- Product code: P6HC0N
As Chevrolet's smallest full-size SUV, it was based on Chevrolet's C/K truck. Because it was based on the GM C/K platform, the Blazer was an immensely capable off-roader using a gear-driven part-time, dual-range 4x4 NP-205 transfer case. This Blazer is powered by a 5.7L, 350 C.I. V8 paired to an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor. Through a column-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission, power gets to the front wheels through a GM 10-bolt front axle and to the rear wheels through a GM 12-bolt rear axle. The drive wheels are selected through a floor gear selector, allowing both 2WD high/low gears and 4WD high/low gears.
